On the basis of the submitted report on flooding prevention in the countries of the EU, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and developed curricula in this field, the objectives, competencies and outcomes of the curricula will be defined within the framework of WP2 that will be improved at the partner countries’ universities. For the purpose of developing new master and the modernization of the existing bachelor, the universities BOKU, USCM and UNIRC shall organize study visits for teachers from universities from Serbia and BiH, who will be practically introduced to the teaching process at these universities.  According to the knowledge acquired and with the support of the universities from program countries, each university will develop and modernize the existing subbjects on the basherol programme. The harmonization of syllabuses of the subjects at universities in Serbia and BiH will ensure that the engineers have a joint approach to the solving of erosion and torrent control problems. The number of new subjects that will be introduced is 9, and modernization of the existing subjects by introducing new teaching units shall be performed for 18 subjects in the study programs of the first and second degree. The goals, competencies and outcomes of the new master program will be in line with the basic recommendations of the Bologna Declaration. The master program will have a workload of 60 ECTS since the partner countries’ universities have a structure of education 4 + 1 + 3.
