Quality plan and monitoring

Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) is in charge of ensuring quality control and monitoring. QAC is a body formed at the onset of the project together with PMU and SC. It consists of four members, i.e. UB, UNIRC, FAS-BASand UNSCM. Quality Assurance Committee shall develop a plan for quality control and monitoring at the beginning of the project. This plan shall be adopted by SC. Work package leader (WPL) for theWP4 Quality plan and monitoring is the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and it will be responsible for the implementation of activities in the framework of this work package. WPL will have constant communication with the coordinator of the project, and if necessary with QAS. The Quality Control Plan will include a plan of measures to be taken in case of non-fulfillment of the working plan or failure to meet quality requirements according to the standards for new syllabuses. Quality control will be performed at two levels: the internal level and the external level. QAS meetings will be held twice a year.

Internal control will be carried out by QAC. PMU will prepare reports on the fulfillment of the work plan and submit them to QAC. After the adoption of improved curricula with new subjects and modernized syllabuses, each university from the partner countries shall enroll the envisaged number of students. During the implementation of the program, the universities will develop a questionnaire for evaluation by students. The evaluation results will be discussed at a meeting of QAC and will be an integral part of the final report. One of the QAC obligations is to prepare four reports on the monitoring and quality control during the project. An external evaluator will be hired for external quality control of the implementation of the project and its results. He/she is obliged to draw up two reports, one after the first-half of project implementation and the other one at the end of the project. The external evaluator reports to the QAC. External evaluator control will be conducted through visits to the users of project results and discussions with their, management and discussions with the target groups. The external financial report will be produced by an external auditor.
